A MAN who grew his hair for a year to raise money for Cancer Research UK has had his locks chopped off.

Clive Strawbridge avoided the scissors for 12 months and people bought raffle tickets in the hope of winning the first prize, which was to cut his hair in any style they chose.

The winner, Keith Strawbridge, asked professional hairdresser Tracey Bruce to in the style of reality show star Joey Essex.

The event has raised an impressive £415.
