THE Symes class at Chard School made and sold pancakes to raise funds for the Somerset Emergency Flood Relief Fund Appeal.
They raised an impressive £40 and the school said everyone enjoyed the event, with flipping the pancakes and eating them proving to be the most exciting part.
Children in nursery and reception also had pancake races on the Astroturf area.
