PEOPLE at Burnworthy House in South Petherton have been doing their bit to raise cash for Somerset’s flood victims.
Residents have sold hand-made items, such as cards and small gift bags filled with sweets, to family friends and visitors to the home.
They have also organised a raffle and collection boxes to raise money for the Somerset Emergency Flood Relief Fund Appeal.
One resident, Joan Pitt, wrote a letter to Prime Minister David Cameron to share her views on the devastation and received a letter back.
