TWO more men have been arrested today (January 4), as part of an ongoing investigation into sexual exploitation offences in Yeovil.

A 37-year-old man and a 26-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of rape and are in custody for questioning.

Three people charged with offences relating to the inquiry appeared at Taunton Crown Court for a preliminary hearing last month.

Luke Fuller, 24, of Kingston, Yeovil, Eleanor Dollery, 20, of Preston Road, Yeovil and Jon Smillie, 27, of Hathermead Gardens, Yeovil, were arrested after a series of police raids, including one at a home in Chard.

Mr Fuller and Ms Dollery, were both charged with trafficking persons within the UK for sexual exploitation and conspiracy to rape a woman aged 16 or over.

Mr Smillie, is charged with trafficking persons within the UK for sexual exploitation, raping a girl under 13 and controlling a child aged 13-17 involved in prostitution/|pornography.

The investigation began in August 2013 after police received information relating to sexual offences committed in Yeovil.
