NATIONAL Health Service guidance on how to prevent and manage challenging behaviour related to a patient’s clinical condition has been launched.
Clinically-related challenging behaviour makes it difficult for staff to deliver good care safely and the new guidelines help staff prevent and manage patients to minimise distress and deliver high quality personalised care in a safe for staff environment.
