BUILDERS working on a South Petherton housing development got more than they bargained for when they stumbled across human bones.
Police and the coroner's office were called after the discovery at the old Sunday school development in Roundwell Street about a fortnight ago.
Work was allowed to continue when it was discovered the bones were ancient remains on an old church burial site.
