Oxbridge place for local students

STUDENTS from South Somerset have been celebrating after landing Oxbridge places.
Matt Cline, of Chard, Emma Hope, of Ilminster, and Beth Vincent, of Crew-kerne, are all studying at Richard Huish College in Taunton.
Emma has been offered a place to read maths at Peterhouse College, Cam-bridge University.
Beth is set for Kings Coll-ege, also at Cambridge, where she will read biological natural sciences.
And Matt has been accepted to read maths at Lady Margaret Hall College at Oxford University.
Emma and Beth both attended Wadham School at Crewkerne, while Matt was a student at Taunton Acad-emy.
Ten other college students are off to the elite universities.
