Jobs front looks good in Yeovil constituency

LATEST figures for the Yeovil Constituency show that unemployment in the area is 2.4 per cent – far below the UK average of 7.7 per cent.
The data, published last week by the Office for National Statistics, showed that the area was now in the top 100 constituencies for employment in the UK.
Yeovil MP David: “It is good to see that unemployment in this constituency remains far lower than in other areas of the UK. We have strong local businesses which have helped Yeovil to weather the side-effects of the international economic crisis better than other areas.”
