ABOUT 4,000 astronomy enthusiasts visited Taunton Racecourse for a BBC Stargazing event – including members of Crewkerne and District Astronomical Society.
Visitors of all ages had the chance to scan the skies with telescopes and hear from experts. They also met sci-fi characters from television and cinema.
