FORMER Health Minister Dr Stephen Ladyman will take over as chairman of Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in May, replacing Linda Nash.
The trust covers community health, mental health and learning disability services, and employs around 4,000 staff with a £147million annual budget.
Dr Ladyman, former MP for South Thanet, was a Labour health minister before becoming a transport minister.
