Rag Rugs workshop at Ilminster Arts Centre

A WORKSHOP for the crafty and creative who wish to recycle their fabric is coming to Ilminster next week.

Ilminster Arts Centre is set to host the Rag Rugs workshop with Gill Wilkinson on Wednesday, February 8, from 1.15pm to 4.15pm at a cost of £10 for the session.

Gill will be showing those who are interested in the green craft ways of re-using old fabrics and materials – recycling them to make rugs, wall hangings and many other items.

The session is ideal for beginners or those with a bit more experience who wish to join a group to share ideas and fabrics.

Materials for learning are included, but advance booking is required as there are limited places available – with future workshops also taking place on Wednesday, March 14, and Wednesday, April 11.
