Diaspora to play postponed gig

A POSTPONED performance by popular Somerset folk group Diaspora will take place at the Warehouse Theatre, Ilminster, on Sunday, February 13.

The Bridgwater-based band (pictured) were due to play the venue's Twelfth Night concert on January 6 but the show was cancelled due to bad weather.

The six-piece have played all over the UK and abroad for over 12 years, and promise a mix of traditional and modern Irish music, with the odd wassailing song and comic banter.

They will be performing from 7.30pm and tickets are available from Lanes Garden Shop in Ilminster, Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, or by calling 07502-189717.

Anybody with tickets for the January 6 performance can use them for the rescheduled show.
