ILMINSTER will host an evening of traditional Westcountry carols and folk music when the Stanchester Quire visit the Minster Church tonight.
Founded in 1996 by director of Folk South-West, Eddie Upton, the community choir has performed around the region and beyond, including France's Pays Basque province and Ludlow's Medieval Christmas Fair.
They are coming to the Minster as part of their annual Christmas tour of churches and theatres in the area, which also coincides with the release of a new album of seasonal songs.
The concert, which starts at 7.30pm, will include a mixture of full ensemble arrangements, duos and solos, as well as spoken material.
