Gifted musicians perform charity concert

TALENTED performers from London’s Guildhall School of Music will appear at the Meeting House in Ilminster. TALENTED performers from London’s Guildhall School of Music will appear at the Meeting House in Ilminster.

A STRING sextet from the prestigious Guildhall School of Music will perform at a charity concert at Ilminster’s Meeting House Arts Centre on Saturday, July 18.

The musicians include talented violinist Arisa Fujita, a member of the distinguished Fujita Piano Trio who has performed extensively in this country and abroad.

She will be joined by viola player Rosalind Ventris, who reads music at Cambridge, and some of the most gifted students at the Guildhall.

The concert is being held to raise funds for the Aiden Woodcock Charity, an organisation that works with young musicians starting out in the professional world.

The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £10 for members, £9.50 for concessions.
