Top blues act at the Square and Compass

BLUES band with a difference the Mean Red Spiders will perform at the Square and Compass, near Ashill, on Friday, June 5.

The four-piece are a well-respected act on the Bristol music scene and their unusual look coupled with an authentic blues sound has proven a hit with live music fans for almost three years.

Playing a mixture of Chicago and New Orleans-style blues, the band will cover songs by legends such as Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Elmore James and Ray Charles.

The music starts at 9pm, with doors open from 8pm, and pre-booked food available from 7pm.
