A STRING quartet who worked with composer Benjamin Britten will be giving a concert at Dillington House, near Ilminster, this Sunday.
The current line-up of the Allegri Quartet, left, which has been in existence for 60 years, “plays with elegance and cleanness of detail” (Independent on Sunday).
On Sunday the quartet will play works by Haydn, Beethoven and Brahms.
The Dillington concert starts at 2.30pm, and tickets cost £16 or £8 for under-18s from www.dillington.com or 01460- 258648.
