A BRITISH jazz heavyweight returns to the Meeting House in Ilminster on Friday for a night celebrating the genre.
The Dave Newton Trio, fronted by 11-time British Jazz award winner Dave Newton, is joined by saxophonists Alex Garnett and Dave O’Higgins.
Garnett is a semi-resident at Ronnie Scott’s in London and O’Higgins has worked with artists including Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra and the BBC Big Band.
Tickets cost £15, or £36 including a pre-show supper, booked on 01460-54973. The show starts at 8pm.
