PAINTINGS by the late Mike Aplin go on show at The Gallery in Chard on Monday, in what is a final opportunity to buy the artist’s work.
A wide range of impressionistic landscapes and abstracts will go on public display in the Holyrood Street venue in an exhibition that runs until Saturday, March 1.
Gallery owner Simon Cooper said: “Mike mostly worked with oils using palette knives and very rarely used brushes.
“He painted land, sea and townscapes locally as well as abroad on location.
“More than 30 paintings are for sale at The Gallery and they are priced to sell starting from only £50.”
