ARTY school children from Crewkerne and Yeovil have teamed up to produce a special exhibition in tandem with the Octagon Theatre’s panto.
More than 240 children aged five to 11 from six schools, including St Bartholomew’s C of E First School in Crewkerne, Chilton Cantelo Preparatory School and St Michael’s Academy in Yeovil, took part in an artist-led project to draw huge pictures telling the story of Snow White.
Octagon Theatre manager Adam Burgan said: “I am delighted with the exhibition and I am sure the thousands of patrons who visit The Octagon over the festive period will enjoy seeing the work created by over 240 Somerset children.
“We are so lucky to have a wealth of creative talent in the region and it is something we are passionate about promoting.”
The exhibition is on the Octagon’s upper floor from noon until the end of evening performances or until 5pm on non-performance nights.
