ILMINSTER’S Warehouse Theatre (pictured) hosts a dose of Dickens this month.
Charles Dickens’ 1834 classic, ‘A Christmas Carol’, is Ilminster Entertainment Society’s seasonal production.
Miserly Ebeneezer Scrooge sees Christmas as a sore interruption to his business of money-making, even if it means his downtrodden workers miss out.
Yet as December 25 approaches, he is visited by the three spirits of Christmas, who give him a sharp wake-up call.
The show promises to warm the heart’s cockles and runs nightly at 7.30pm from Wednesday, December 11, until Saturday, December 14, with an additional Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
Tickets, from £8.50 to £7, are available from Lanes Garden Shop at 17 Silver Street, Ilminster, or call the box office on 07943 779880.
