A HIDDEN gem in Ilminster celebrated its makeover with a glamorous re-opening event on Friday.
Volunteers and supporters of the Warehouse Theatre thronged to celebrate its new-look foyer, which is now fit to rival any in the West End.
Two wrought iron chandeliers, made by local blacksmith Mike Judd, were symbolically switched on by Cllr Linda Vijeh, Deputy Mayor of Ilminster.
Scott Waldie, chairman of Ilminster Entertainments Society, said: “We’re very fortunate to have received a number of grants and donations, which has made it possible for us to undertake this refurbishment, and we hope it will make coming to the theatre an even more pleasurable experience.”
