CHRIS Farlowe and the Norman Beaker Band will be performing at the David Hall arts centre in South Petherton on Saturday, March 23, from 8pm.
For Farlowe fans everywhere he is the consummate rocker, the living embodiment of the star who has seen it all and done most of it, but remains as fresh and enthusiastic as when he started out, more than 50 years ago.
Chris Farlowe’s classic number one, Out of Time, written for him by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, is one of the top 60 most played records of all time, followed by the classic Handbags and Gladrags, written especially for Chris be Mike D’Abo.
He will be performing at the David Hall with the Norman Beaker Band featuring Norman, John Price, Dave Baldwin, Steve Gibson and Kim Nishikawara; a five-piece outfit reckoned to be one of the best and most original Blues bands in the country.
Tickets are priced £17.
