BUTLER Joyce Evelyn, former Baptist minister passed peacefully away at Musgrove Park Hospital on 13th November 2015, aged 91 Years. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. A service of thanksgiving will be held at Chard Baptist Church on Wednesday 2nd December 2015 at 1.30pm. No Flowers please, Donations in memory of Joyce are being received for the Siloam Christian Ministries and may be given at the service or sent c/o Friendship & Sons Funeral Directors, 15 High Street, Chard, TA20 1QF Tel: 01460 929009.

Strong, courageous, thoughful, loving, kind and funny. Just a few things that instantly spring to my mind everytime I think of you. You had a wicked sense of humour and had the best belly laugh I have ever heard. I can't believe that I will not be able to hear, see or hug you again.

An truly inspirational lady who loved life and loved others. I feel privileged to have known her for my whole life, through Sunday school, girls brigade and into adulthood. She'll be remembered as a beautiful lady with a beautiful soul; and will be missed by many people whose lives she touched.
