Spurdle Gilbert. Passed away suddenly at home on 11th August 2014, aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband of Mary. Beloved father of Carole and Rob and devoted grand- father of Michelle and Tony and Darren and Kelly. And great grandfather of Alisha, Jessica and Jake. Funeral service to be held at St. Mary’s Parish Church, Chard, on Thursday 21st August at 11.00am. Family flowers only please, for those wishing to, donations for Cancer Research UK and The British Heart Foundation may be given at the service or sent c/o B.
