MICO Douglas and Vera. Congratulations to Douglas and Vera (née Trim) who are celebrating their 75th wedding anniversary at Hornsbury Mill and later visiting Donyatt Church where they were married on the 14th June 1941 during the war whilst Douglas was serving in the RAF. Douglas was originally from Ilminster and Vera from Donyatt (Forrest Gate Farm) and now living near Weston Super Mare. Unfortunately Vera now lives in Heathwood House Care Home where Douglas is spending his time between Heathwood House and his home in Lympsham. The family have decided that instead of having a family celebration they would have a party for the residents at Heathwood Care Home which Gordan and Ann (son and daughter) would arrange.
